Lead Product Designer

INRIX
October 2021 – Present

I lead design for INRIX One, our AI-first mobility analytics suite. INRIX One helps cities, DOTs, and municipalities read traffic patterns and make better decisions. I turn complex data into intuitive, actionable insights. I also keep our design system scaling cleanly across multiple products. Governance, compliance, and consistency matter in this space, so I build UX that balances clarity with control. I bridge engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to shape high-impact user experiences.

Senior UI/UX Designer

Aduro & Clients
March 2020 – October 2021

At Aduro, user retention protected our users' health; It was not simply a KPI. I designed thoughtful, inviting digital health experiences for employees who manage type-2 diabetes. Each design made daily use of the health apps simple, comforting, and easy. This work raised user retention and improved health outcomes. I ran continuous research and prototyping to keep the designs intuitive and empathetic. That steady loop drove real engagement and meaningful behavior change.

Senior UI/UX Designer

Cisco Systems, LTI
April 2019 – March 2020

At Cisco, I designed an internal tool for data governance and secure data access. Enterprise data is sensitive, so I crafted interfaces around clarity, transparency, and ease of use. The tool turned complex compliance rules into clear, direct steps. I worked closely with engineers and stakeholders on every decision. Together we turned rigid enterprise constraints into accessible, high-trust user experiences. This work improved data governance and user satisfaction.

UI/UX Designer

OnPoint Digital
October 2016 – August 2018

At OnPoint Digital, I designed and prototyped interactive learning experiences for enterprise customers. I balanced strong visual design with real usability. I worked closely with developers and stakeholders to build mobile and web solutions. These solutions improved how well users retained information and stayed engaged. Careful attention to user flows shaped learning environments that felt intuitive and effective.

Leading adoption of AI in product development - Sean Mihaly - Innovation

ACE Award
Q1 2026

Sean demonstrated exceptional initiative by fully embracing prototyping and modern AI driven development workflows to accelerate product innovation. His work on the Movement Boundaries project brought ideas to life quickly, creating a tangible and compelling UI prototype that helped the team better understand, refine, and align on a powerful new capability within Signal Analytics.  Beyond his individual contributions, Sean elevated the entire team by proactively preparing and leading training sessions on how to effectively use new AI coding tools for prototyping and product workflows. His ability to translate emerging technology into practical, team wide impact has improved how we ideate, iterate, and deliver, setting a strong foundation for faster and more creative product development moving forward.
